We have numerous relationships to navigate in our lives, ranging from friends, family, classmates, romantic partners etc. Yet, we often neglect to reflect on them and truly inquire why they are important and how we can nurture them and ourselves. During this workshop series, we will delve into the most important aspects of building and maintaining relationships and consider creative ways to keep them healthy. In each workshop, we will explore a different aspect of relationships, ranging from the significance of social connection to communication styles and problem-solving techniques.
Anteaters for Recovery is a new program at UCI and is intended for students who identify themselves as being in recovery. This could be recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, growing up in an alcoholic family, or any other life altering situation that someone could be in recovery from. Join this safe and confidential space to share or listen and support. All meetings led by a pro staff member also in recovery. Anteaters for Recovery is a safe space for students to gather and support each other in their recovery journey, but is not intended for group counseling or therapy.
